Mission Statement

Unión Universitaria Latinoamericana (UUL) is a community of support and connection for Latin American Faculty and Staff across all areas of Stony Brook University and Stony Brook Medicine. We aim to engage faculty and staff though social, cultural and advocacy initiatives.

Events and Membership

UUL was developed to promote Latino Culture within Stony Brook and to also advocate for the Latino employees within the Stony Brook setting. 

To become a member of the UUL SRG,  please sign up through this survey so you can be informed of upcoming meetings and events. There is no cost associated with membership and no time commitments.

Members can attend as many meetings and events as they would like. Individual membership in SRGs is strictly voluntary and open to all employees who are interested in joining, regardless of identity. Refer to the SRG benefits and guidelines for more information.
