Most people don’t know that 425,000 German soldiers were brought to U.S. prisoner of war camps during W.W.II. This is a heartfelt, dramatic story of Frank Stirn (Eric Stoltz), who moves to Wisconsin with his wife (Kate Connor) and family in the summer of 1944 to become a barber for the American Army and the POW camp at Fort McCoy.
