Following the devastating North Sea Flood, everyone is desperate to get out of the flooded province of Zeeland. One woman is going against the flow—into the disaster area. This gripping drama is remarkable for its realism, superb direction, extraordinary performances and outstanding special effects. Based on a real event, The Netherlands’ own Hurricane Katrina, the North Sea Flood of 1953 (Dutch: Watersnoodramp, ‘the flood disaster’).

Produced by Alain De Levita and Johan Nijenhuis. Director of Photography: Piotr Kukla. Opening Night screening courtesy of Nijenhuis & De Levita Film and Universal Pictures International.
