Geologist and poet Michael (Allan
Hawco) travels from Canada to Ireland to study the
stunning geological wonders of the Burren. He encounters
Cathleen (Sarah Greene), a young woman who plans to
dedicate her life to the Church. In a community torn
between its traditional roots and its aspirations for
the future, an attraction between the two is met with
hostility. Cathleen ultimately has to decide where her
heart belongs. A beautiful and touching story with all
the grand views and sounds of Ireland.
