THE MISSING PERSON

East Coast Premiere—U.S.A.—95 minutes

Written and directed by Noah Buschel. With Michael Shannon, Frank Wood, Amy Ryan, Linda Emond and John Ventimiglia.

John Rosow (Michael Shannon, Oscar nomination, Revolutionary Road) is a private detective hired to tail a man on a train from Chicago to Los Angeles. Persuaded by a large reward, Rosow is charged with bringing the man back to his wife in New York City. A deliberately paced private-eye story, Rosow gradually uncovers the man’s mysterious identity. “The Missing Person is about the stuff we have to deal with when we wake up every morning in the horrible, beautiful world, and I appreciated the mature themes and quiet moments twined into a genre better known for adolescent thrills and louder flash.”–Cinematical

Produced by Jesse Scolaro, Allen Bain, Lois Drabkin and Alex Estes. Director of Photography: Ryan Samul. A 7th Floor and Apropos Film. From Strand Releasing.
