Set in a remote Kazakh
outpost, a young boy falls gravely ill when he sees the face of an ominously
veiled stranger—perhaps Death itself. While on the brink of death, a winged
creature appears and he is thought to be an angel. A unique story, mixing equal
parts whimsy, earthy humor and social critique. Produced by Rauf
Atamalibekov and Stanislav Ershov.
